Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, butfor the heart to conquer it.

Rabindranath Tagore
About This Quote

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain, but for the heart to conquer it. As long as I dwell on the pain and misery of my past, I will never move forward. I can’t move forward because I’m trapped in the past and living in the moment. The past is what has caused me to be where I am today and I can’t get rid of that pain and misery without working through it.
